Welcome Back!

To Uni that is.
That's what today is. The (what I'm sure is going to be incredibly fun...) meeting where they tell us to work hard, not slack off, be organised and don't forget that this year counts extra!

I'm sure it'll be a blast. :)

I'm predicting a good turn out for today and the first couple of weeks, followed by a dramatic decrease in student attendance!

Today for breakfast I will be having bran flakes! I've never has them before but apparently they are rich in iron which little old anemic me needs.
I will report back!

I thoroughly recommend...

...that you all read 'The To-Do List' by Mike Gayle.
I'm currently reading it and it's marvellous!
I'm actually writing my own to-do list now. :)
Hopefully mine won't be as long as his.

Ps. Re Breakfast

Oh yes breakfast! The best meal in the day. :)

I have discovered that Rice Krispies are the only cereal (that I have tested so far) where the recommended serving size actually fills a bowl.

The recommended serving size is 30g by the by.

That is only 18 Frosted Wheats. I don't know if you've ever actually seen 18 Frosted Wheats, I'm probably the only person ever to weigh them out, but it's not a portion of breakfast I'll tell you that!

Don't have two purses!

So, I'm being organised right? Going into uni to sort out some book nonsense and fix some stuff in the office. Don't even start back until the 24th. Go me.

I walks all the way up to the train station ~(around a mile from my little house) and when I get there I find out I've left all my money and plastic money in my other purse. The one I used on Monday night because my normal purse doesn't fit in those nice little 'going out' bags.

My train leaves in 5 minutes. It takes 20 to walk home and 20 to walk back again. Boo Hiss. Pantomime noised please.

What should've been a nice little walk turned into a 3 mile trek just to bob into the library and chat to the office people. At least my step counter will be full to the brim with steppy goodness.

Maybe the lesson should be buy a sensible sized purse that can be used for all occasions?

Procrastination.

Why oh why do we do it?
It's uni in two weeks time and I've not read a single book on bilingualism or humour or anything.
Ooops.
I did do project based research (that hasn't gone very well) but it's not realy enough is it?
Which is why today I have to go to the library and weigh myself down with books.

My advice to you is, don't do what I did!
Do it now! Just like that advert for that jet phone thingy:
